Who are the best FPL transfers by position?

Up front, Haaland is projected 53.3 xP over the six gameweeks at £15.6m, and he is owned by 74.2%, so he is a hold rather than a transfer. João Pedro is next at 33.0 xP and £7.7m. In midfield, Saka leads on 37.0 xP at £9.6m, ahead of B.Fernandes at 36.6 xP and £11.9m. Groß is 33.4 xP at £5.9m, which is far cheaper for a similar return.

In defence, Guéhi is projected 33.3 xP at £6.0m, with De Cuyper on 33.1 xP at £5.0m. Among goalkeepers, Trafford is projected 26.1 xP at £5.0m and Tzolakis 24.7 xP at £4.7m.

Where is the value?

We rank value as projected points over the next six gameweeks per £1m, for players projected 12 or more. De Cuyper is top among defenders at 6.6 xP per £1m, then Schuster at 6.3 and Bogle at 5.8. Groß leads midfielders at 5.7, and Barry leads forwards at 4.4. Tzolakis is the best-value keeper at 5.3.

Which differentials are worth a look?

A differential here means a player owned by fewer than 5% of managers. Schuster is the standout: £4.5m, owned by 0.6% and projected 28.4 xP. The others are Stach at 25.8 xP, Rúben at 25.8 xP, White at 25.7 xP, Muharemović at 25.7 xP and Mukiele at 25.6 xP. White is back from a flag, so check his minutes before you commit.

What is the crowd doing?

The most transferred in are Groß, Schade, Kostoulas, De Cuyper and Hall. Our model agrees with the Groß and De Cuyper moves, at 33.4 and 33.1 xP. Schade is projected 26.2 xP, Hall 27.2 xP and Kostoulas 23.1 xP, which is solid rather than special.

The most transferred out include João Pedro, Isak, Tzolis, Szoboszlai and Calvert-Lewin. Isak (0.0 xP next gameweek, with a thigh injury) and Tzolis (12.2 xP over the horizon) are sensible exits. João Pedro is the odd one: our model still projects 33.0 xP, so selling him is a bet against our numbers.

How we worked this out

Projections are our model's expected points for Gameweeks 6 to 11, built from fixtures, start probabilities and recent output. Ownership, prices and transfer counts come from FPL's own data.

How this is written: an AI model drafts it from our projections and FPL's own data, and it is published only after an automatic check that every number, player and link in it comes from that data. The projections are graded in public on the scorecard.
